A resident of Ventura County for over twenty years, Todd has transitioned his career from the private sector to dedicating himself to his passion which is focused on education and economic development. He firmly believes in initiatives that foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and workforce readiness, believing that education should not only enrich young minds but also equip them to thrive economically.
Having taught at public schools for many years, he understands the various challenges that public schools face with needed resources. His goal with the MEF is to deepen its relationship within the community of Moorpark to not only provide financial support to its schools but to create a bridge between the business community and the schools so students are better exposed to career paths and opportunities within their own community. This work often extends beyond classrooms, engaging with policymakers, businesses, and community leaders to build programs that create sustainable opportunities to prepare students for the skills necessary to be part of the digital economy.
In his professional life, Todd is a University Development Counselor for Grand Canyon University, serving all adult learners in Ventura County that work within Education and Healthcare. He holds a Masters degree from the University of Salamanca in Spain in Global & International Studies with an emphasis in Science, Technology, and Innovation and a Bachelors of Music degree from Chapman University in Orange, CA.
