Jordan Levine is originally from Atlantic City, NJ but has called LA/Moorpark home for the past 21 years. He holds a B.S. in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst as well as a Masters in Education from Pepperdine University with post-graduate work in Experiential Education as a Means for Deep Learning. For 20 years, he has taught English, P.E., outdoor environmental science, robotics, STEAM, college prep, karate, and served as executive director for an adventure guiding company as well as several summer day camps.

With two boys in elementary and middle school, two dogs; and a musically-talented wife who is a performer and teacher, he leads an enriched life. His social interests range from enjoying the world of the great outdoors in any way, novels/comic books, practicing karate with his boys, writing, learning to play the viola, being an active father and present partner. Jordan says he will try pretty much anything.

Jordan knows that Moorpark has many opportunities to build a memorable school experience for every student’s time with Moorpark. He believes that learning experiences should be equally accessible, vigorously demanding, and an emotionally positive impact for all. He is committed to making sure students exit MHS with the skills, confidence, and understanding to navigate the world around them with passion as representatives from our small town.
