A resident of Moorpark since 1989, David has long been an active member of the community, having served on local, regional and state boards.

During his 13 years on the Moorpark City Council, David also served on the board of the League of California Cities, the Regional Council of the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), and the Ventura County Air Pollution Control Board.

While  on the board of the Moorpark Unified School District, David was the first person from Ventura County to serve as president of the California School Boards Association representing nearly 1,000 school boards across the state.

David is a strong believer in community service.  In addition to serving on the MEF board, he serves on the boards of the Moorpark Foundation for the Arts and the Moorpark College Foundation.

In his professional life, David is a fractional executive and CEO of Propulsive Executive Services.  He holds an MBA degree from the UCLA Anderson School and a BS degree from Pepperdine University.
